£35,345- £39,880 Full Time 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday with occasional evening meetings)

Camborne Town Council is already on a journey of aspiration and ambition as it works towards its Vision and Objectives.  Based in the town of Camborne, an area rich in heritage and well known for its links with Richard Trevithick’s steam carriage and mining past, this is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and forward thinking team of Officers and Town Clerk in helping to shape the style and direction of the new Town Council, responding to the needs of the local community.

As the Responsible Finance Officer (RFO) you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team assisting the Town Clerk in the day-to-day management of the Town Council administration specifically accounts, payroll, financial planning alongside support to Members and Committees.   You will be effectively managing and monitoring the Council’s finances and advising the Council on a financial strategy that will meet its objectives.
