Camborne Youth Council visit St Michael's Mount

What a fantastic day Camborne Youth Council had on Sunday October 3rd St. Michael's Mount!

We learnt all about local history, displaying and engaging with heritage and culture, and the young people represented Camborne beautifully during our visit. An added bonus was some time spent with Mounts Bay Marine Group learning about their work and helping spot marine life as part of their survey. A huge thank you to Lord & Lady St Levan for inviting us to visit and for the amazing tour provided by Kerry, plus the cream tea provided by the St Aubyn Foundation.

Some of our young people had never visited the island or castle, and some hadn’t ever spent much time rock pooling, so it really was a special day for them.
