Camborne Recreation Ground has retained the coveted Green Flag Award and is officially recognised as one of the country’s best parks.

Camborne Town Council has once again received the prestigious Green Flag Award for Camborne Recreation Ground. The news that Camborne Town Council has achieved the accreditation, the international quality mark for parks and green spaces, is testament to the hard work and dedication of the team that care for the green space so that everyone can enjoy it.

Keep Britain Tidy’s Green Flag Award Scheme Manager Paul Todd MBE said:

“I would like to congratulate everyone involved at Camborne Town Council in achieving a Green Flag Award. The Recreation Ground is a vital green space for the community in Camborne, bringing people together and providing opportunities to lead healthy lifestyles. The staff do so much to ensure that it maintains the high standards of the Green Flag Award and everyone involved should feel extremely proud of their achievement.”

Camborne Town Council Amenities Manager added:

“The Amenities team are committed to providing quality outdoor areas for everyone to enjoy and we are delighted that our hard work has been recognised. Our aim is to improve all our parks and green spaces across the parish.”
