Trevithick Day Set to Make a Return April 2022

Trevithick Day is back on Saturday 30th April 2022.

The committee has been working hard behind the scenes to bring Camborne's favourite day back to the town after two years of cancellations during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Would you like to dance this year?

The adult dance, starting at 2:30pm, is open to those aged twelve or above who were born in, or has lived in, or has worked in, or goes to school/academy in Camborne. Please contact Malcolm Godolphin, Dance Co-Ordinator, by Saturday 2nd April - either email, or phone 01209 718807, or by post 16 Trelawney Road, Camborne TR14 7LN. 

Dancers aged 16 or above will need to become a member of The Trevithick Day Society, the annual fee is one pound (£1) which permits you to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting of the Society, normally held in September. Dancers aged 12 to 15 will not need to become members.

Ties and sashes will be distributed at the practices, these are to remain the property of the Committee and are to be collected immediately after the dance has finished. Each dancer is requested to attend at least one of the practices which will be held in Camborne Parish Church Hall at 7.00pm on Wednesday 6th and Wednesday 13th April.

How to book a stall for Trevithick Day:

Traders are invited to book stalls for Trevithick Day by completing the downloadable document below and returning it to Ann Raymond Tel – 01872 540575 / 07704 062259 e.mail - post your application form to :- Mrs Ann Raymond, Little Lanteague, Scotland Rd., Zelah, Truro, TR4 9JG

Minimum size of stalls – 10 ft. frontage – maximum depth 10 ft.

Charities / Voluntary Organisations - £ 3.50 per ft.

Commercial Businesses - £ 5.50 per ft.

Street Food Caterers Only – no Trailers - £ 8 per ft. - by arrangement with stall coordinator. (no confectionery to be sold on hot food units)

NO – B.B. Guns/B.B. Type guns/Chinese Lanterns to be sold at this event

Please avoid Plastic Packaging wherever possible. TAKE ANY LITTER WITH YOU

Public Liability Insurance must be sent with each booking form

• Gas certificates/Electrical certificates and risk assessment, if applicable, must also be sent at the time of booking.

• Cheques to be made payable to 'Trevithick Day Fund' or BACS.

• The organisers may keep your contact details for future reference There is no closing date on this application but preference will be given for trading positions to those traders who book before the end of March.

Pitches not occupied by 8 a.m. on event day will be re-let.

No refunds will be given.
