Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II sadly passed away peacefully on Thursday 8th September. Our deepest condolences go to His Majesty the King and the Royal Family.

'It is very sad news to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II at the fine age of 96. A lady who committed her life to duty for the people and served her Country for so many years. Our thoughts must go to her family who have lost not just a loved one but a Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. We must all remember in our own way.'

All Camborne Town Council meetings and events have been postponed with immediate effect. Normal Council services will be reduced as Officers and Councillors follow national protocols.

The Union Flag will be flown at half-mast on top of the Passmore Edwards Building, the Town's Municipal Building, as a sign of respect of her passing.
