Steve’s 100 Mile Challenge, 3-8 May 21. The President of Camborne Branch will be walking Cornwall’s beautiful coastline in support of the Royal British Legion in its Centenary year.
To commemorate/celebrate the Royal British Legion’s Centenary I intend to walk 100 miles in 5 days along Cornwall’s South West Coastal Path. I will be camping out at night. The route will commence at the Keep, Bodmin on Mon 3 May 21 and finish (hopefully) at Camborne War Memorial on Sat 8 May 21

I plan to walk 20-25 miles daily following the Camel Trail, South West Coastal Path, Tinners’ Trails, route to be Bodmin-Newquay-St Agnes-Portreath, Devoran-St Ives-Sennen-etc, until the 100 miles is complete.
I will be setting off from the Keep at Bodmin at 0930hrs Mon 3 May 21.
Finishing approx 1000hrs Sat 8 May 21 (VE Day) at the War Memorial, Camborne Parish Church.
I will be wild camping where possible and true Military tradition I will be carrying tent and sleeping system and 24 hours of rations supported once daily providing fresh clothes, daily food etc by the Branch Committee and my long suffering wife, Trish.
