Park Gerry Improvement Consultation

Park Gerry

In June 2021, Camborne Town Council received the amazing news that they were successful in their application of £957,420 from Camborne Town Deal. This funding, plus an additional £150,000 from the Town Council/Section 106 has been sourced to support improvements to Park Gerry.

Park Gerry is a beautiful large green space in the Roskear area of Camborne (formerly known as Park Road Playing Fields). At the moment the space consists of three large fields, with some hedgerow & trees. Previously this space has been used for sport. At the moment the space is used mainly for dog exercising. The aim is to create a free to use  'Green Health Corridor' which will provide a hub for activity and enjoying nature in one of Camborne's largest residential areas.

Please take a look at the initial designs and let us know your thoughts. The designs include the following possible installations: pathways, signage, wildflower meadows, a football pitch, multi-use games area, wheeled sports park, outdoor gym, changing rooms & toilets, carparking space, sensory/memorial garden.
