60 Meneth Road,
I am really enjoying my role as a Councillor because of my ‘Green philosophy’ which is people focused for now and all our futures. This is the third Council to which l have been elected in Cornwall, with same mandate of care for our Common Good.
I have lived in Cornwall for well over half my life and enjoyed every moment, with my family and friends. I have been involved in beach volleyball for many decades which l love playing for which my dogs join in when allowed.
Being a professional photographer, writer/researcher and charity worker allows me to keep occupied since taking early retirement and a lot of my interests in life link in well with my previous experience as a teacher/lecturer at our local schools and working with Cornwall Council and the U.N. I used to play a mean guitar, like learning new languages and playing chess. Having grown up children, l now know not to say too much for they put me I’m place regularly.
There is a lot of more work to do on Council being at a critical juncture in all our lives with responding to the climate crisis which will only be resolved with bold and resolute actions, which we all will do unreservedly. Thanks.
