Chairman's Message

We are very proud to represent the interests and views of a wide cross section of businesses in Camborne and our district. This we do in many activities to promote our town and surrounding area. We work closely with our Town & District Councils and other organisations to improve our community. For example, we meet with Camborne Pool Redruth Urban Regeneration Company, Tin Country Partnership, Town Forum, and the CCTV User Group. We are also asked to meet with many other people to represent the views of business in Camborne.

We have created the Camborne Redruth Chambers Partnership to work together with Redruth Chamber of Commerce to have one business voice for Camborne Pool Redruth. This will be beneficial when talking with the Camborne Pool Redruth Regeneration Company to significantly improve the area.

Camborne has a great heritage having been in the forefront of mining in Cornwall for many years. With decline in the mining industry we are now seeing significant investment to regenerate the town for the 21st century- to make it a leader in the retail sector.

We are also members of the West Cornwall Chambers of Commerce which represents the voice of business in West Cornwall.

There are over 70 members in our Camborne Chamber and we meet on the first Thursday of every month at 7.30pm in the Lowenac Hotel. If you are in town, you are very welcome to join us at our meetings to hear what is happening in Camborne.
